At JMI-Roofing Ltd we have a team of roofing experts who are qualified in the installation of quality uPVC guttering systems which include fascias, soffits, bargeboards, downpipes and cladding if you need it.
A good guttering system is intended to protect your roof and property from water damage caused by the rain.
Guttering directs the flow of rainwater away from your roof, if this doesn´t happen correctly then water will penetrate your property´s brickwork and will eventually lead to damp and mould forming inside your home.
Guttering can also be used to steer water into storage tanks which is a useful source of water for your garden.
Guttering needs to be inspected regularly to ensure there are no blockages from leaves, moss, dirt and other debris. Blockages can disrupt the water´s flow and therefore cause problems.
If you have any concerns about your guttering or if something needs to be repaired or replaced, then give our team a call.
For new installations, our quality uPVC guttering systems can transform the look of your property and come with a 10 year no rot guarantee. There are many styles, shapes and colours of roofline products to choose from, our team will be able to help you decide on which is most suitable for your property.
Gutters are durable and maintenance free once installed by us.
Fascias are the horizontal boards that cap the edge of the rafters and are in place to improve water drainage from your roof.
The soffit board has to be ventilated to allow the flow of air into the roof area
If you need a new guttering system or simply need part of your system renewed or replaced, give our team a call at JMI-Roofing Ltd on either the London or the Surrey number at the top of the page, we look forward to hearing from you.
Soffit Board
The Soffit Board is not very easy to see as it is placed under the fascia board and it looks hidden. Ventilation is very important when it comes to installing new soffit. To avoid increasing the risk of timber decay, the soffit has to be ventilated to allow the flow of air into the roof area. This is a highly important function because moisture in the attic can develop rot in the sheathing and rafters.
Fascia Board
The Fascia Board is the horizontal board that caps the edge of rafters around the outside of your property. The fascia board can also have guttering attached to it. This makes them important for improving water drainage from your roof and keeping it in good condition.
Installing new fascias and soffits (roofline) is a great way to brighten up your property, We offer two options when installing roofline, option 1 is to completely remove and replace what’s already there, option 2 is to cover your existing roofline and go over the top with either UPVC or Wood. (only recommended if your existing roofline is structurally sound) we install roofline in either UPVC or natural wood.
